Linear Gauge in Straight Table.

Part I

• In Part I we will work with ABC_Sales_data file
• Build Straight Table:
  • Dimension - CompanyName,
  • Measures(Expressions):
    • Sum(LineSalesAmount) (Label: Sales, Representation: Text)
    • Sum(LineSalesAmount(Label: Sales Trend, Representation: Mini Chart, No Totals, In Mini Chart Settings choose dimension Month/Year and Mode: Sparkline)
    • Sum(Margin) (Label: Margin, Representation: Text)
    • Count(DISTINCT OrderID) (Label: #Orders, Representation: Text)
    • Count(DISTINCT OrderID) (Label: Orders, Representation: Linear Gauge, No Totals)

      In Linear Guage Settings define the maximum length of the bar as follows:

      =Max(Aggr(Count(DISTINCT OrderID), CompanyName))

      Remove Segment 2

      For Segment 1 change color to Gray

      Fill to Value (Indicator Mode)

      Select Hide Gauge Outlines

    • Max(OrderDate) (Label: Latest Order, Representation: Text)
    • Avg(Discount)(Label: Average Discount, Representation: Text). Add visual clues: highlight discounts above 10% (Upper>=0.1)

Part II

• In Part II you will work with USDA dataset.
• Design Straight Table with Linear Guages for Sum(Sugar) and Sum(Cholesterol)
• Values for Gauge Settings Max:

  =Max(Aggr(sum(Sugar), Description))

  =Max(Aggr(Sum(Cholesterol), Description))
