The Women in Computing Club provides an opportunity to gain skills outside of the classroom and allows for female students from different majors in computing fields to bond.

Women in Computing

The Club is organized and will be operated exclusively for educational and scientific purposes to promote participation of women in the field of computing, to expand women’s knowledge and computing experience by encouraging discussion and raising awareness regarding issues surrounding Women in Computer Science and related disciplines.

The goal is to foster a community for women in technology at Widener University, including Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Digital Media Informatics and other STEM disciplines to promote retention and recruitment of women.
